Hot Fixes

A hot fix is a small fix/patch/update for a release of AMPRO or add-on product.

Please check the version of the software you are currently running before applying any of these hot fixes.

Installation Instructions

Before you start the installation

Ensure the Hot Fix applies to your version of AMPRO or Job Requests.

The Hot Fix will need to be installed on all computers before AMPRO or Job Requests can be run on those computers.

You must know the location of the AMPRO.exe file on the computer if installing a Hot Fix for AMPRO. The default location is ‘C:\Program Files\Third City Solutions\AMPRO Standard\’.

You must know the location of the JobRequests.exe file on the computer if installing a Hot Fix for Job Requests. The default location is ‘C:\Program Files\Third City Solutions\Job Requests\’.

Close any open applications.

Starting the installation

Download the appropriate Hot Fix file to your system.

Open ‘My Computer’ or ‘Windows Explorer’ and browse to the folder you saved the installation file (HotFix.exe or JRHotFix.exe) to.

Double click on the file.

Follow the instructions on the screen.

Any files that are overwritten during the installation will be backed-up to a folder called ‘Backup’, where you chose to install AMPRO or Job Requests (e.g. ‘C:\Program Files\Third City Solutions\AMPRO Standard\Backup\’).

	Download Hot Fix (Right-Click, Save Target As...)
	This hot fix is a compressed (.zip) file containing the AMPRO 'PDA' folder (by default, located at C:\Program Files\Third City Solutions\AMPRO Standard\AMPRO Data\). To install this hot fix unzip the contents into the same location as your existing PDA folder, overwriting all existing files. Ensure all transactions have been processed before installing this hot fix.
